Board Members

David Dorman
(Chairman)
David Dorman was named Chairman of the Board of Infoworks in January of 2019 and brings over 38 years of senior executive, operational, Board and investment experience.  Mr. Dorman is presently Chairman of the Board at CVS Health Corporation and a member of the boards at Dell Technologies and PayPal Holdings, Inc. He has previously served in various executive leadership roles in the telco industry, including Chairman and CEO of AT&T; Chairman of the Board of Motorola; Chairman, President and CEO of Pacific Bell; and President of Sprint Business.  
Buno Pati
Buno Pati is currently the CEO of Infoworks and served as its Chairman from its inception, and as Executive Chairman since September 2017 through January of 2019. Buno brings over 20 years of experience as CEO, entrepreneur, board member and investor in technology companies. Buno was CEO and cofounder of Numerical Technologies, a company that redefined how semiconductors are manufactured, and led the company from inception through a very successful IPO (NMTC). Buno is also a partner at CenterView Capital.
Ned Hooper
Ned Hooper is a Founding Partner of Centerview Capital Technology and currently serves as its Managing Partner. Ned brings over 20 years of operational and investment experience, leading growth technology businesses from the C-Suite and managing venture and growth capital investments. Prior to Centerview, Ned was Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Cisco. Prior to joining Cisco, Ned was responsible for building and implementing a global distribution strategy for Lightspeed International, a start-up acquired by Cisco. He began his career in technology with MCI in Product Management.
Naren Gupta
Naren Gupta co-founded Integrated Systems Inc (ISI), a leading embedded software company, where he served as the President/CEO for fifteen years since founding in 1980. He took ISI public and subsequently merged it with Wind River Systems. Naren continued to serve on the board of Wind River till its acquisition by Intel. He has served on the boards of many public and privately held companies. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Red Hat, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the California Institute of Technology and the Advisory Board of Asia Society Northern California.
Amar Arsikere
Prior to co-founding Infoworks, Amar built the first data warehousing platform on Bigtable at Google, then built one of the world’s largest in memory database infrastructures at Zynga.   To deal with the complexity of these environments, Amar created an automation layer to simplify the entire data workflow.  Based on these experiences, Amar started Infoworks to commercialize his learning.  Infoworks presents the third time he has solved the problem of simplifying away the complexity of big data.

Greg Papadopoulos
Greg Papadopoulos joined NEA as Venture Partner in 2010 after more than twenty years of experience in the technology industry and academia. He focuses on early-stage systems, software and semiconductor companies. Prior to NEA, Greg was EVP and CTO of Sun Microsystems, where he guided the company’s $2B R&D portfolio. Before Sun, Greg was an Associate Professor of EECS at MIT, where he worked on massively parallel dataflow computing architectures. He also helped found a number of companies, from video conferencing (PictureTel) to computational fluid dynamics (NASDAQ:EXA), and was an engineer with HP and Honeywell.
Tony Zhang
Tony Zhang joined Centerview in 2013 and is currently a Principal. Prior to Centerview, Tony worked at Khosla Ventures, where he evaluated and structured investments in early and growth-stage technology and clean-tech companies. Tony also worked closely with portfolio companies on growth initiatives including strategy, marketing, finance, and raising capital.  Prior to Khosla Ventures, Tony worked in the Technology Investment Banking Groups at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. He advised companies in the semiconductor, software, systems and networking space on mergers and acquisitions and raising capital.
