David Dorman was named Chairman of the Board of Infoworks in January of 2019 and brings over 38 years of senior executive, operational, Board and investment experience. Mr. Dorman is presently Chairman of the Board at CVS Health Corporation and a member of the boards at Dell Technologies and PayPal Holdings, Inc. He has previously served in various executive leadership roles in the telco industry, including Chairman and CEO of AT&T; Chairman of the Board of Motorola; Chairman, President and CEO of Pacific Bell; and President of Sprint Business.
Prior to co-founding Infoworks, Amar built the first data warehousing platform on Bigtable at Google, then built one of the world’s largest in memory database infrastructures at Zynga. To deal with the complexity of these environments, Amar created an automation layer to simplify the entire data workflow. Based on these experiences, Amar started Infoworks to commercialize his learning. Infoworks presents the third time he has solved the problem of simplifying away the complexity of big data.
Bill Davidow has been a high-technology industry executive and a venture investor for more than 50 years. He founded Mohr, Davidow Ventures in 1985 and is the author of five books. While at Intel Corp., Bill served as senior vice president of marketing and sales, vice president of the microcomputer division and vice president of the microcomputer systems division. Prior to Intel Corp., Bill held managerial positions at Hewlett Packard and General Electric. Bill serves on the boards of California Institute of Technology, Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, and The California Nature Conservancy. He also sits on the Board of Overseers of the UCSF Medical Foundation.
Naren Gupta co-founded Integrated Systems Inc (ISI), a leading embedded software company, where he served as the President/CEO for fifteen years since founding in 1980. He took ISI public and subsequently merged it with Wind River Systems. Naren continued to serve on the board of Wind River till its acquisition by Intel. He has served on the boards of many public and privately held companies. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Red Hat, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the California Institute of Technology and the Advisory Board of Asia Society Northern California.
Ned Hooper is the President and COO of Infoworks and is also a Founding Partner at Centerview Capital Technology. Previously he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Cisco Systems where he was responsible for business development activities including acquisitions, equity investments, and the incubation of innovative technologies. Ned brings over 20 years of experience as a senior executive and investor in technology companies. He currently serves on the boards of numerous private companies and has a long history in the C-Suite leading growth and creating shareholder value through both IPO and M&A.
Greg Papadopoulos joined NEA as Venture Partner in 2010 after more than twenty years of experience in the technology industry and academia. He focuses on early-stage systems, software and semiconductor companies. Prior to NEA, Greg was EVP and CTO of Sun Microsystems, where he guided the company’s $2B R&D portfolio. Before Sun, Greg was an Associate Professor of EECS at MIT, where he worked on massively parallel dataflow computing architectures. He also helped found a number of companies, from video conferencing (PictureTel) to computational fluid dynamics (NASDAQ:EXA), and was an engineer with HP and Honeywell.
Buno Pati is currently the CEO of Infoworks and served as its Chairman from its inception, and as Executive Chairman since September 2017 through January of 2019. Buno brings over 20 years of experience as CEO, entrepreneur, board member and investor in technology companies. Buno was CEO and cofounder of Numerical Technologies, a company that redefined how semiconductors are manufactured, and led the company from inception through a very successful IPO (NMTC). Buno is also a partner at CenterView Capital.
